The hands-free bill becomes law on August 1st, 2019 in Minnesota. This law allows a driver to use their cell phone to make calls, text, listen to music or podcasts and get directions, but only by voice commands or single-touch activation without holding the phone.

What is Tater Daze?
Brooklyn Park Tater Daze is a unique festival where residents pay homage to the humble potato. Early settlers quickly discovered that potatoes flourished in the flat, sandy soil; this area then went on to became one of the nation’s top potato producers.
In 1964, the first festival celebrating our potato-farming heritage saw a variety of exciting events, including a queen pageant, Tater Mash Dance, kite flying, a parade, games, a farmer’s market, rides and a pancake breakfast.
Prizes given away included coupons for gasoline, free groceries, cash and 420 pounds of potatoes donated by local growers. Over the years, Tater Daze has adapted and grown to accommodate our ever-changing culture and today attracts nearly 10,000 local area residents at a variety of locations across Brooklyn Park!

1. Pay Attention to Manufacturer Recommendations
We hear it all the time. But how often do we take it seriously? Service intervals, proper fueling, and even your windshield wipers all come with factory recommendations for optimal performance. So, if you want your machine to be in it for the long run, make sure it’s able to run long.
2. Use Proper Cleaning Products
You love your premium paint job and custom leather seats and want to keep them looking brand new as long as possible. Using the proper cleaning products is the best way to do that.
For example, using a high-quality carpet cleaner for your car’s floors will get those stains out and keep the carpet looking (and smelling) fresh. For seat stains and wear, use a dedicated leather cleaning solution and microfiber cloth for maximum impact. Wash the exterior often to keep it looking sleek throughout its lifetime.
3. Keep Your Tires On Point
You drive on them all day. They keep your car moving smoothly and you from sliding all over the road in less than optimum conditions. Checking the air pressure and keeping your eye on tread shrinkage (it’s recommended to replace them around 1.5mm of tread or less) will keep your drives smooth and safe.
4. Don’t Underestimate the Power of Your Wipers
Plan ahead for bad weather by keeping your wipers updated. The better the wipers, the better the visibility when you really need them. Nobody likes that streaky mess or grating sound across the windshield when the wipers are worn—especially when it inhibits your sight line and causes less than ideal driving situations.
