Technician Pathway Programs at Buerkle Acura

Our Technician Pathway Programs offer pathways for high school students and beyond to launch their automotive careers with hands-on learning, certifications and career support. Buerkle Acura offers two main paths to help you succeed in the growing field of auto service:

Tech-Track Program for Current Post-Secondary Students

Balance school with part-time work in our Tech-Track Program. During school breaks, you can work full-time, gaining valuable experience while earning full benefits. This program offers:

  • Monthly tuition reimbursement payments, totaling $8,000
  • $2,500 tool allowance
  • Full benefits, whether part-time or full-time, including medical, dental, vision and a 401(k) with company match
  • ASE certification training and reimbursement
  • Continued manufacturer training and tenure recognition

This program is a perfect choice for students who want to build their skills while still enrolled in school.

Earn As You Learn Program for High School Graduates

Accelerate your automotive career with our Earn As You Learn Program. After completing your ASE Maintenance & Light Repair (MLP) Certification, you'll move up to a B-level technician role, allowing you to diagnose and repair vehicle components independently. Our Earn As You Learn Program provides:

  • $2,500 tool allowance after one year
  • ASE certification training and reimbursement
  • Full benefits, regardless of part-time or full-time hours, including medical, dental, vision and a 401(k) with company match
  • Continued manufacturer training and tenure recognition

How to Qualify for a Technician Job

  • Be on track to or have graduated high school
  • Possess a valid driver's license (other job roles are available for those under 18)
